学力テスト ― 2023/05/05

　４月、文科省の全国学力テストが行われました。対象は小学6年と中学３年。

　中学３年向けの科目は、国語、英語、数学でしたが、この中で英語は「読み、書き、聴く、話す」の４つとも網羅されていました。

　でも「話す」テストはどうやってやったのか？　オンラインで実施されたとのことです。

１人１台、机上にタブレットみたいな端末が用意され、受験者はイヤーマフとマイクを付け、問題に対して答える。それが録音されオンラインで収集されるという仕組み。

　問題と正答がネットで公開されていたので英語の「読み」のテストを見てみました。

読解問題はこれを日本語に訳せば、ちょうど日本語能力試験のN2～N3レベルの問題じゃないかな、と思いました。

そこで、ブログネタにもなるかと、ここに２問ほどコピーしました。

ちょっとやってみてはいかがでしょう。

　日本語の学習者の気持ちが少しわかりますよ（趣味でもない限り、外国語の長文を読むってやはり苦痛です）

一番最後に正答を書いておきます。

次の英文は、 しおりさんが英語の授業で「町の図書館」について書いたものです。

これを読んで、以下の問いに答えなさい。

Libraries today are more creative than in the past. The library in our town is more creative, too. 

We can do a lot of things there. 

We not only read books and watch DVDs at the library, but also enjoy events like book talks, puppet shows, and workshops about making picture books.

問題７の（２）最も適切な概要を選ぶ４択問題は紛らわしくて難しかったのではないでしょうか？

　それにしてもworkshopの（注）がワークショップ　ってそのままやんか、とツッコミを入れたくなります。すでに日本語化した外来語だということでしょうか。

　オリーブでも授業中、日本語能力試験の問題集をやっていると、著者はなにを言いたいのか、とか文章の主旨を選ぶ選択問題は定番で出てきます。

教える前に事前に自分でもやってみるのですが、正直、間違える時があります。

　間違えたことを棚に上げて言うのですが、これ間違えるよな、と思うような紛らわしい選択文もあるのです。と文句も言いつつ、今回はここまで。
